We are thrilled to announce that Access Health and Community Richmond moved to Goodwood Street on 2 September 2024.

Our new location at 21-31 Goodwood Street is 600 meters away from our current site (283 Church Street).

The new location offers convenience and accessibility, with easy access to public transport and on-street parking.

Close to other health services, our new location provides a central and convenient hub for the community’s healthcare and social support needs.

At AccessHC, your health and wellbeing are top priorities. We will continue to provide the same exceptional services, before and after moving. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to ensuring you have access to the services you need.

Our new facility promises an even better experience for you. With upgraded amenities, enhanced comfort, and a modern environment, we aim to create a welcoming and positive experience for all our clients.

AccessHC’s new location is 21- 31 Goodwood Street, Richmond, Victoria.

Will AccessHC's contact information change after the move?

The only contact information change for AccessHC will be the address. You can still call us on the same number and book appointments in the same way.

Clients and community members can stay updated about AccessHC’s move to Goodwood Street by visiting this page, following our Facebook account, using the signup form to subscribe for updates, or contacting us directly via richmondproject@accesshc.org.au.

Is AccessHC accepting new clients during the transition period?

Yes, it’s business as usual. AccessHC will continue to accept new clients during the transition period. To book, give us a call on (03) 9810 3000.

I have an appointment scheduled for September. What will happen to my appointment?

If your appointment at AccessHC Richmond is on or after 2 September, it will be at 21-31 Goodwood Street.

We will confirm the location with you when we rebook or confirm your appointment.

What level is AccessHC on in the building?

AccessHC is located on the ground floor level of 21-31 Goodwood Street.

We will be located at the front of the building with a dedicated entry off Goodwood Street.

What public transport can get there?

There is access to the tram and train within easy walking distance:

400m from the route 48/75 tram stop on Bridge Road (Bosisto/Bridge Road, Waltham St/ Bridge Rd stops)
900m from Richmond Train Station
900m from West Richmond Train Station

What parking is available?

Our tenancy includes sufficient car parks under the building to accommodate parking for staff and our fleet vehicles.

We have also worked with council to relocate the disabled car park space on Goodwood Street to the bottom of the ramp to improve access.

On-street parking is available on nearby streets (for example, 2 hour parking on Lennox Street).

We will provide clients with clear parking instructions via an Access Key (a document describing how to access the building) and signage about where to (and where not to) park.

What is disability access like? (are there ramps, stairs, lifts?)

There is ramp access from Goodwood Street to our dedicated entry.

We have also worked with council to relocate the disabled car park space on Goodwood Street to the bottom of the ramp to improve access.
