There are a number of donation opportunities to help us support our community.

Access Fund

What is the Access Fund?

The Access Fund helps clients to access important services or buy equipment to support their health and well-being when they can’t afford it.

Background

In 2013, we realised a goal of setting up a Fund to support the most vulnerable in the community and those facing financial hardship. We wanted to help them to access services, programs, medications, and aids and equipment not offered through any other current government subsidised programs.

A generous grant of $6,000 was donated to start the fund. Grants to date have assisted our clients in many ways.
  • Payment for training fees to support clients to find employment and work towards a goal of independent financial management
  • Purchase specialised equipment such as a wheelchair
  • Supporting funding for medical aids i.e. orthotics and pressure care cushion
  • Giving them access to services that are not subsidised by Medicare or other government grants
  • Subsidising transportation costs to attend appointments
