Megan McInerney

Senior Health Promotion Practitioner (pronouns: she/her)

Megan is a Senior Health Promotion Practitioner at Access Health and Community and holds a Master of Public Health (Distinction) from Monash University, Bachelor of Science Chiropractic (Honours) and Bachelor of Human Movement Science from RMIT. With a background in both Allied Health and Public Health, Megan has a unique perspective in understanding the burden of chronic disease and importance of primary prevention initiatives on the future health and wellbeing of communities. 

Megan leads many of the active living initiatives across settings including community, sporting clubs and education and contributes to various other initiatives across the different health priorities.  

Area of Interest

Megan is a passionate advocate for supporting equitable access to physical activity and active recreation opportunities across the life span, with a particular interest in increasing engagement and participation of women and girls and people from marginalised populations.
