Ageing and Social Support
Services Offered
We offer a range of opportunities for social support, outings and respite. To find out about upcoming group outings, visit our What’s On page.
Social Support Groups: We offer a variety of social support interest-led groups that are engaging and focus on building social connections. We have groups such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Flicks with Friends, Trivia, Walking Groups, Social Sing-along, Senior Carers Groups and many more.
Bus Outings: Our bus outings feature fun and varied locations that have been pre-selected by our clients. These inclusive group outings include dedicated men’s and Indo-Chinese groups.
In-home Respite: With in-home flexible respite we support carers in their caring role by providing a support worker to come into the home regularly to provide social companionship. Our services include supporting clients to attend community centres, specialised activities or medical appointments. Support workers can also assist clients with general chores or grocery shopping.
Accompanied Outings: These outings are a supportive door-to-door service with transport. We support clients to do their shopping, attend an activity or appointment, or visit family and friends.
Volunteer Transport: Our transport service is made up of a team of skilled and friendly volunteers who donate their time to get you to medical and allied health appointments, services and activities. For more information visit our Volunteer Transport page.
