What is a Respiratory Clinic?

The Access Health and Community Respiratory clinic helps adults and children with respiratory symptoms to: 

  • access a comprehensive respiratory assessment
  • receive immediate support to help manage the illness.

Who can visit the Respiratory clinic?

We can assess and treat people with mild to moderate respiratory conditions, including:

  • mild asthma
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • runny nose
  • shortness of breath
  • loss of smell or loss of taste
  • influenza
  • pneumonia.

If you do not have respiratory symptoms and only need a COVID-19 test, please go to a COVID testing centre. We can provide you with the location of your nearest testing facility.

This respiratory clinic does not provide testing or treatment for people who already know they are COVID-19 positive.

Frequently asked questions

This clinic provides services at no cost to you.

Services are available to people with or without a Medicare card.

This respiratory clinic does not provide testing or treatment for people who already know they are COVID-19 positive.

We cannot see you at this respiratory clinic if you have tested COVID-19 positive on a Rapid Antigen (RAT) or PCR test.

We cannot see you at this respiratory clinic.

You are officially a case and you must report your result to the Victorian Department of Health online or call 1800 675 398.

You don’t need to report your result if you tested positive from a PCR test.

When you report your positive RAT test result you will be offered care and support with the COVID Positive Pathways program.

  • Tuesday: 9am – 5pm 
  • Wednesday: 9am – 5pm 
  • Thursday: 9am – 5pm 
  • Friday: 9am – 5pm 

Extended hours from 28 March 2022:

  • Monday: 8am – 10pm 
  • Tuesday: 8am – 10pm
  • Wednesday: 8am – 10pm
  • Thursday: 8am – 10pm
  • Friday: 8am – 10pm
  • Saturday: 8am – 8pm
  • Sunday: 8am – 8pm
