NDIS for children
Access Health and Community has been a registered NDIS Service Provider since October 2016.
How we can help
We can help with Early Childhood Early intervention (ECEI) services for children under 7 years old with an NDIS Plan. Our staff can work with you as parents/carers to focus on your child’s needs.
We also provide NDIS services for children up to 12 years for most of our therapies.
If your child needs NDIS services, we will offer you a therapist who will be your primary contact/key worker. They will work with you to meet your child’s NDIS goals and support your family to access our Child and Family team. We will form a team around your child to improve their developmental outcomes.

- Educational Support including help with school transition
- Short term groups based on the specific needs or goals in your child’s plan
- Early Childhood Early Intervention.

Our NDIS for children services are available at the following locations: Templestowe Lower, Box Hill, Ashburton and Greythorn Community Hub.

Early Intervention Supports for Early Childhood (children under 7 years)
Improved Daily Living Skills – Capacity Building supports for Early Childhood (Key Worker, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Educator, Dietician) $193.99/hour
Improved Daily Living Skills – Capacity Building supports for Early Childhood (Psychologist) $214.41/hour
Early Intervention Supports for Early Childhood – Groups (children under 7 years)
Group rates will vary based on the number of children who participate. As a guide – the standard hourly rate above is divided by the number of participants.
Therapeutic Supports (children over 7 years)
Occupational Therapy- Improved Daily Living Skills $193.99/hour
Speech Therapy- Improved Daily Living Skills $193.99/hour
Physiotherapy- Improved Daily Living Skills $193.99/hour
Psychology- Improved Daily Living Skills $214.41/hour
Travel costs for therapy support
We can help you at one of our clinics, your home or your preferred community setting.
Access Health and Community will claim travel costs as per the NDIS guidelines. (NDIS price guide 1 July 2021).
